Quantity Surveyor

Qualification : BE / BTECH (CIVIL, MECHANICAL, E & I)

Experience : 1 year to 5 years

Understanding of

• BOQ (Bill of Quantities)
• MTO (Material Take-Off)
• Quantity take-off from 2D drawings
  
  

Familiarity with measurement principles for: {Entry-Level Expectations}

• Civil works (concrete, formwork, reinforcement)
• Structural steel
• Piping / mechanical items (basic level)
• Electrical & Instrumentation items (basic awareness)
  
  

Awareness that work involves {Entry-Level Expectations}

• Construction quantities
• Progress measurement
• Subcontractor billing support
  
  

Software & Tools {Mandatory / Strongly Preferred}

• MS Excel – good working knowledge
• AutoCAD – ability to read drawings and extract quantities
