• As the FGL for Brakes, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of the brake systems of our products (Two Wheeler), ensuring they meet performance, safety, and cost targets. You will work cross-functionally with design, engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance the structural integrity and overall riding experience.
• Lead the design and development of brake systems across product lines delivering New Products, addressing problems in current products and developing future technologies.
• Review test procedures and results (Brake performance, durability, Noise) and oversee the validation process.

Required Experience: 18-20 years in Automotive R&D field. Experience in Chassis System Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in Brake systems Design & development. Should have experience of leading a team for 5 to 8 years.

Vacancy 2 : Functional Group Leader - Frame

• As the FGL for Frame, you will be responsible for leading the development and optimization of Frame of our products (Two Wheeler), ensuring they meet performance, durability, weight and cost targets. You will work cross-functionally with design, engineering, testing, and manufacturing teams to develop innovative solutions that enhance the structural integrity and overall riding experience.
• Lead the design and development of Frame Architecture and Structures across product lines delivering New Products, addressing problems in current products and developing future technologies.
• Review Simulation test procedures and results (FEA, Durability, Dynamics, Package, etc.) and oversee the validation process.

Required Experience: 20 years in Automotive R&D field. Experience in Chassis System Engineering, with a minimum of 10 years in Frame and Structural Component Design & development. Should have experience of leading a team for 5 to 8 years.

Role Description

• Define technical requirements and ensure designs meet performance, durability, weight and cost targets. Co-ordinate effectively to deploy mutually agreed QCD requirements on brake systems, steer alignments and discussions within and between CoCs, Quality, Purchasing, Service, Production and Aftersales.
• Conduct Design reviews, update and maintain design guidelines, SoPs, DFMEA related to brake systems.
• Mentor the new engineers for their career goals and objectives
• Lead Problem solving initiatives & Value Engineering initiatives on brake systems across product life cycles.
• Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks and drive technical decisions in quick time.
• Develop standardised solutions across platform minimising variety in brake systems.
• Ensure compliance with global safety and regulatory standards.
• Manage supplier relationships for brakes systems across the globe.
