Senior Business Analyst

About the Role We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst with strong experience in requirement analysis and stakeholder management to drive solution design for complex client engagements. This role requires someone who can independently lead requirement gathering efforts, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to solution strategy discussions.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead requirement elicitation and analysis for medium to large-scale projects.
• Translate business needs into detailed functional requirements, non-functional specifications and user stories.
• Own end-to-end requirement documentation, validation, and sign-off processes.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering teams.
• Drive UAT planning, execution, and defect triage.
• Identify process gaps and recommend solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Mentor junior and associate business analysts on best practices.
• Contribute to proposal and solutioning discussions during pre-sales activities.

What we look for:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
• 7+ years of experience in business analysis, with exposure to enterprise or SaaS projects. Edtech product experience would be an added advantage.
• Strong command of requirement gathering, documentation, and Agile delivery practices.
• Proven ability to manage multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Domain expertise in Education Technology, SIS, or related enterprise software.
• Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis tools.
• Experience with integration concepts (APIs, LMS/ERP/CRM systems).
• Business Analysis certification preferred.
