Factspan - Technical Lead - AI/ML

We are seeking an experienced and innovative Technical Lead - AI/ML Engineering to lead the design, development, and deployment of next-generation AI-powered enterprise applications. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in full stack engineering, cloud architecture, and modern Artificial Intelligence technologies including Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Agentic AI systems, and scalable machine learning platforms.

As a Technical Lead, you will drive technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and deliver highly scalable, secure, and intelligent applications that support business growth and digital transformation initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

AI/ML & Generative AI Leadership :

• Lead the architecture and development of AI/ML platforms and enterprise AI applications
• Design and implement LLM-based solutions including :
• Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG)
• Agentic AI workflows
• Conversational AI systems
• AI summarization engines
• Embedding pipelines
• Build scalable machine learning pipelines for model training, inference, monitoring, and optimization
• Drive adoption of Generative AI best practices and AI governance standards
• Collaborate with Data Science, Product, and Engineering teams to deliver AI-driven business solutions
  
  

Technical Architecture & Engineering

• Lead architectural design and technical decision-making for enterprise applications
• Ensure engineering best practices including code quality, testing, scalability, and performance optimization
• Manage integrations with internal systems and third-party services
• Drive modernization initiatives across applications and infrastructure
  
  

Team Leadership & Delivery

• Mentor and guide engineering teams on AI/ML and software development best practices
• Conduct architecture reviews, code reviews, and technical mentoring sessions
• Drive Agile development processes and ensure timely project delivery
• Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning
• Work closely with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business objectives

AI/ML & Generative AI Skills :

Strong Hands-on Experience With

• Large Language Models (LLMs)
• Generative AI applications
• RAG architectures
• Agentic AI frameworks
• Prompt Engineering
• Embeddings and Vector Databases

• Experience with AI orchestration frameworks such as LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or AutoGen

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• 10- 14 years of software engineering and application development experience
• Proven experience leading AI/ML and enterprise engineering teams
