Assistant Manager QA/QC
Quality Assurance (QA) Functions
supervise and carry out inspection and testing of materials and works:
- Implement and maintain the Project Quality Management System (PQMS).
- Prepare, review, and approve:
- Quality plans (QAP)
- Inspection & Test Plans (ITP)
- Method Statements
- Work procedures as per ISO standards
- Ensure compliance with:
- Contract specifications
- IS codes / ASTM / relevant standards
- Client and consultant requirements
- Conduct internal quality audits and ensure closure of non-conformities.
- Monitor vendor & subcontractor quality systems and approvals
supervise and carry out inspection and testing of materials and works:
- Concrete works (batching, pouring, curing)
- Rock excavation, slope stabilization, tunneling
- Dam structures, waterways, surge shafts, power house
- Reinforcement and shuttering checks
- Ensure testing of materials like:
- Cement, aggregates, steel, water, admixtures
- Verify and maintain:
- Field test reports
- Cube testing, soil testing, NDT reports
- Coordinate with laboratories (site & third-party labs).
