About The Role

We're looking for a Creative Writer who lives inside stories - someone who has spent years writing fiction and understands, at a gut level, how to hook a reader in the first line, build tension across a scene, and make a character impossible to look away from.

This is a role for someone who understands narrative craft deeply - and is now ready to apply that craft to the fastest-moving, highest-stakes format in entertainment: Micro Dramas. You'll write the short, punchy, emotionally loaded scripts that make a viewer stop scrolling, press play, and subscribe. Your storytelling instincts are the engine. We'll give you the brief, the platform, and the performance data to sharpen them.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• 5+ years of fiction writing experience — novels, screenplays, short stories, web series scripts, fanfiction with a serious following, or any format where you've had to make characters, conflict, and emotional stakes work on the page. What matters is that you've written stories and made them land.
• A portfolio that shows narrative craft: tension-building, character voice, cliffhangers, emotional beats. We want to see work where something was at stake and you made the reader feel it.
• Exceptional Hindi and English writing skills. You switch between the two without losing rhythm, tone, or emotional register.
• Deep understanding of what makes short-form video work — pacing, tension, the visual implication of a word, the weight of a pause.
• A storyteller's instinct for conversion. You understand that in this format, a great story that doesn't hook in 3 seconds is a story nobody watches. You're willing to put the craft in service of the hook.
• Speed without sloppiness. You can deliver multiple polished scripts per day, manage revisions without meltdown, and thrive in a high-output environment.

Strong Advantages

• Experience writing for screen — screenplays, web series scripts, audio dramas, or any format where you've had to think visually and write for performance.
• Familiarity with micro-drama formats: the cliffhanger structure, the episodic beat, the 60-second emotional arc that ends on a question.
• A genuine obsession with Indian storytelling — Bollywood, regional cinema, mythology, daily soaps, pulp fiction. You know why certain stories hit the Indian heartland and others don't.
• Regional language fluency — especially in how Hinglish, colloquial Hindi, or regional dialects create emotional authenticity with specific audiences.
• Social media native — you instinctively know what's trending on Instagram, YouTube Shorts, and X, and you can reverse-engineer the emotional logic of a viral moment.
• Comfort with AI writing tools (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude) used intelligently — not as a crutch, but as a creative accelerator.
