As an SDET 2, you’ll design scalable automation frameworks, mentor junior QA engineers, drive quality initiatives, and collaborate closely with developers and product teams to deliver reliable, high-quality software.Who Are We Looking For? – SDET 2 3–5 years of hands-on experience in QA / SDET rolesExperience working on SaaS-based products and platformsStrong expertise in web application testing, REST API testing, and complex API workflowsDeep understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile methodologies, and advanced test design techniques2+ years of hands-on experience with Playwright for automation testingStrong proficiency in JavaScript or TypeScriptExperience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks using:BDD approach (Cucumber with Playwright)Page Object Model (POM)Data-driven and reusable automation architectureAbility to write clean, scalable, maintainable, and efficient automation scriptsStrong experience integrating automation suites with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.)Hands-on experience in API testing using Postman and automation of API test suitesComfortable writing complex SQL queries and validating database workflows (MySQL,Mongo DB, etc.)Strong understanding of Git workflows and version control practicesExperience debugging production issues and collaborating closely with engineering teamsExposure to AI-powered testing tools and modern QA practices, including:Using ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, and Claude Code for automation development and test generationSelf-healing automation frameworks and intelligent locatorsAI-assisted debugging, test maintenance, and reportingExperience mentoring junior QA engineers and reviewing automation codeStrong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detailExcellent communication, ownership mindset, and collaboration skillsAbility to thrive in a fast-paced product engineering environmentKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks and test suitesImprove test coverage across UI, API, and integration layersCollaborate with developers and product managers during requirement analysis and sprint planningIdentify automation opportunities and drive quality engineering best practicesAnalyze test failures, debug issues, and ensure quick resolutionEnsure stable and reliable automation execution in CI/CD pipelinesMentor junior QA engineers and contribute to team growthParticipate in code reviews, quality discussions, and release sign-offsContinuously improve testing processes, tools, and automation efficiencyLeverage AI-assisted development tools to accelerate automation implementation and improve productivityNice To HaveExperience with performance testing tools like JMeterKnowledge of security testing concepts and OWASP Top 10Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS)Experience with Docker and containerized test executionFamiliarity with accessibility testing and cross-browser testing strategiesUnderstanding of monitoring/logging tools for debugging production issues
