About: Nestled on Shotover Street in the heart of Queenstown, and right next door to the iconic Fergburger, Ferg's Bar has become a beloved destination for both locals and visitors. Open from 7 am, we serve everything from exceptional coffee and elevated breakfasts to bold Bloody Mary's, lively Tapas and top-tier cocktails. We're fast-paced, guest focused, and proud of the high standards we uphold day and night.

Whether dining, drinking or working here; Ferg's Bar is the most fun place to be. This role requires multitasking as you listen, entertain, serve and surprise your guests.

About Role

Your primary role will be delivering outstanding coffee and guest experiences, ensuring every guest starts their day the best way possible. You'll be a confident, engaging host - both sides of the machine. Multitasking, chatting, serving and surprising guests while maintaining speed, consistency, and quality.

This is a full-time role (40+ hours per week) with early starts from 6.30 am.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee consistently and efficiently
• Deliver friendly, engaging and memorable service with every interaction
• Greet guests warmly and create a welcoming atmosphere
• Provide an exceptional level of service in every guest interaction, anticipating needs and going above & beyond
• Ensure high standards of cleanliness and ambience
• Knowledge of the menu and drinks list to assist with inquiries
  
  

Requirements

• 3+ years proven experience in a similar role
• Strong coffee knowledge, including latte art and machine troubleshooting
• Friendly, confident, bubbly personality with a genuine love for guests
• Service and sales focused
• High standard of grooming and personal presentation
• LCQ and Duty Manager Certificate highly desirable
• Flexibility to work morning shifts predominantly (6.30am starts)
