CIDCO - Stores

The Stores function shall be responsible for efficient receipt, inspection, storage, preservation, issuance, and inventory control of construction materials in compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and statutory guidelines. The function shall ensure proper material identification, traceability, stock verification, reconciliation, and documentation while maintaining optimum inventory levels to support uninterrupted construction activities. The role includes monitoring material receipts, preparation, material issue transactions, preservation of consumable and non-consumable materials, coordination with procurement, planning, QA/QC, execution, and vendors, and maintenance of accurate inventory records through systems. The function shall facilitate periodic stock audits, monitor material movements, minimize inventory discrepancies, ensure compliance with warehouse safety practices, and support timely availability of materials for effective project execution.
