Site Engineer
Site Execution & Project Management
- Plan and execute structural steel erection and launching activities at project sites.
- Prepare erection methodology, lifting plans, and work schedules.
- Supervise site teams, subcontractors, and resources for timely execution.
- Coordinate with fabrication teams, clients, consultants, and project managers.
- Ensure proper alignment, bolting, welding, and finishing of structures.
- Execute erection and launching of girders, trusses, bridges, platforms, and PEB structures.
- Supervise crane operations, heavy lifting, hydraulic jacking, and launching activities.
- Ensure dimensional accuracy, leveling, and alignment as per drawings.
- Manage site assembly, splicing, temporary supports, and staging arrangements.
- Ensure work execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.
- Monitor welding, bolting, surface preparation, and painting touch-up activities.
- Maintain inspection records, progress reports, and QA/QC documentation (QAP, ITP, WPSS/WPQR).
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures, PPE requirements, and safe working practices during lifting and height activities.
- Prepare progress reports and resource requirements.
- Coordinate mobilization of manpower, cranes, tools, and equipment.
- Identify site issues and implement corrective actions.
- 3–5 years of hands-on experience in structural steel erection and launching works.
- Diploma / B.Tech in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
