Job Overview:
CGI is looking for a skilled Software Engineer - AWS Cloud Engineer to support the design, automation, deployment, and maintenance of secure cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of core AWS services, Infrastructure as Code concepts, Python, CI/CD practices, and container technologies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of core AWS services, Infrastructure as Code concepts, Python, CI/CD practices, and container technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and support AWS cloud infrastructure using services such as EC2, VPC, and IAM.
- Implement and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools such as AWS CloudFormation, AWS Cloud Development Kit (CDK), or terraform.
- Develop automation scripts and utilities using Python to improve cloud operations and deployment workflows.
- Support CI/CD processes for application and infrastructure deployments.
- Work with container technologies to support modern application deployment patterns.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure cloud solutions are secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable.
- Good understanding of AWS services, including EC2, VPC, and IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code concepts and familiarity with CloudFormation, AWS CDK, or Terraform.
- Hands-on experience with Python.
- Working knowledge of CI/CD concepts and deployment automation.
- Experience with container technologies.
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or other relevant AWS certification.
- Exposure to MLOps / AIOps within AWS Cloud
- Exposure to big data technologies such as Hadoop or Hive and EMR within AWS Cloud.
