Associate - Category Manager

Position Summary:

The incumbent shall be responsible for sourcing activities for Asia Pacific Business units in India, ASEAN and ANZ

Key Roles & Responsibilities:

• Perform spend analysis, develop, and deploy category strategies for major sourcing commodities of wood and corrugation.
• Identify savings opportunities in sourcing and implement savings projects by Negotiations, Scouting, identifying & developing new suppliers in order to meet category sourcing diversity, supply chain sustainability objectives
• Freight Management: For Asia Pacific regional business units manage freight life cycle involving freight RFQ's, negotiation & finalization of pricing, and freight performance management Candidate should also have the knowledge of the sea freight landscape to negotiate and enter into contracted freight rates for sea freight
• Work with different business units in region for developing solutions for VAVE or sourcing savings and NPD
  
  
  

Qualification & Certification (if applicable)

• Professional Degree [B.E/Btech - Any stream]
• Other Degrees with relevant Experience can be considered
• Good academic records, 60 % & above across all academics
  
  
  

Experience

• Min 5 years of Supply chain and sourcing experience.
  
  
  

Specialization & experience in International Freight [Sea + Air] shall be an added advantage
