Chief Resident Engineer - Nagpur - Metro - 20+ Years of Experience

Required Qualifications

• Graduate Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university/institution.
• Minimum 20 years of professional experience in construction of Railway / Railway-related projects.
• Proven experience in execution of Viaduct and Stations in at least two Metro Rail projects.
• Strong experience in construction supervision, site execution, coordination, and management of major Metro Rail infrastructure works.
• Experience in managing multidisciplinary teams and coordinating with contractors, consultants, and other project stakeholders.
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage construction activities for Viaduct and Stations under the Metro Rail project.
• Supervise and monitor site execution to ensure works are completed as per approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and project schedules.
• Review construction methodologies, work programs, and technical submissions from contractors.
• Coordinate with contractors, design teams, project management teams, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related issues.
• Monitor progress of construction works and ensure timely completion of project milestones.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Indian Standards, Metro Rail specifications, safety requirements, and project quality standards.
• Identify construction risks and provide technical solutions for timely resolution of site issues.
• Lead and guide the site engineering team for effective execution and quality control of Viaduct and Station works.
