Humann helps Indians / South Asians around the world find therapists who actually get their cultural context. The people who find us stay with us — our retention is among the best in the category. What we're solving now is reaching more of them, and that's where you come in.

This is a rare amount of ownership for a marketer. You won't run a single channel or fill a content calendar someone else built — you'll own how Humann reaches people across paid, organic, and content, measure what works, kill what doesn't, and help turn our acquisition from founder-led into something repeatable.

The founder owns positioning and brand direction. You own making growth happen.

What you'll own

• Paid acquisition — directing performance freelancers, not running every ad yourself
• Organic and social — building our presence, not just posting to it
• Content and creative — briefing freelancers and using AI tools to move fast on a lean budget
• Entire acquisition funnel: the channels that bring people in, the intake that converts them
• Tracking and reporting — owning the funnel end to end and knowing your numbers cold
• Experiments — deciding what to test next and telling us honestly what the data says

What we're looking for

• 4–6 years in growth or marketing, ideally at startups where you did a bit of everything with no team to hide behind
• Experience with brand strategy, positioning, and storytelling for early-stage or consumer-focused products.
• Genuinely hands-on — you've built and run things, not just presented strategy
• Comfortable with numbers; can tell a real signal from noise
• A real connection to mental health or the diaspora experience
• Someone who gets energy from shipping and seeing things move, week after week

We're early, bootstrapped, and small. You'll have more ownership than almost any marketing role at this level — and less structure. If that excites you, we should talk. If you need a big budget and a big team to do your best work, this isn't the role. There's real equity on the table and a clear path to grow into a senior role as we do.
