8–12 years of experience in Category Management, Category Analytics, Retail Analytics, Market Measurement, or Consumer and Shopper Insights. Strong hands-on experience with Nielsen POS data or NIQ data. Expertise in POS data analysis, market share analysis, category performance, and brand performance. Experience in pricing, promotion, assortment, distribution, and retail performance analysis. Strong understanding of FMCG, CPG, retail, or consumer products business models. Ability to interpret large datasets and convert findings into actionable category insights. Experience preparing dashboards, category reviews, scorecards, and business presentations. Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills. Proficiency in Excel and data-visualization or business-intelligence tools.

Analyze Nielsen POS data, category performance, market share, sales, distribution, pricing, and promotion data. Develop actionable category insights, shopper insights, consumer insights, and market measurement reports. Identify category growth opportunities using POS data, retail trends, competitor performance, and consumer behavior. Conduct category, brand, retailer, pricing, promotion, assortment, and distribution analysis. Prepare category reviews, business performance scorecards, dashboards, and executive presentations. Translate complex retail and market measurement data into clear business recommendations. Monitor category KPIs, market share, sales trends, distribution gaps, promotional effectiveness, and assortment performance. Partner with Sales, Marketing, Trade Marketing, Category Management, and Analytics stakeholders. Support periodic reporting, ad hoc analysis, business reviews, and category planning. Ensure accuracy, consistency, and quality of Nielsen or NIQ datasets and reporting outputs. Provide subject-matter guidance on Nielsen POS analytics, market measurement, and category management best practices.
