Role: Subject Matter Expert - K10 Social Studies

Are you passionate about Social Studies and love simplifying concepts for students? Join Unacademy as a K10 Social Studies SME and contribute to creating high-quality learning content for Grade 10 students.

What You’ll Do:

• Create and review high-quality content for Grade 10 Social Studies
• Develop explanations, examples, questions, solutions, and revision material aligned with the curriculum
• Ensure content is conceptually accurate, student-friendly, and pedagogically sound
• Simplify complex concepts into clear and engaging written content
• Review and improve existing content to maintain high academic and editorial quality
• Collaborate with content and product teams to build effective learning experiences

What We’re Looking For:

• B.A./M.A. (Humanities/Social Studies) students or graduates preferred
• Strong command of Grade 10 Social Studies – UP, MP & Rajasthan State Boards
• Excellent writing and reviewing skills with strong attention to detail
• Ability to explain concepts in a simple and intuitive manner
• Strong ownership and quality mindset
• Proficiency in Google Docs and related tools
• Hindi proficiency is mandatory – both written and spoken
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, in-office environment

Good to Have:

• Prior experience in teaching, tutoring, content writing, or content review
• Ability to identify conceptual gaps and improve explanations from a student's perspective
• Experience creating questions, solutions, and revision material
• Prior experience working in EdTech/content teams

This is a strictly Work From Office role based out of Unacademy’s Bangalore office.
