Jr Mainframe Developer

Position Description

We are looking for a skilled Mainframe Developer with strong Banking domain knowledge to join our technology team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in COBOL based mainframe applications,

• Develop, maintain, and enhance mainframe applications in a banking environment.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Perform coding, testing, debugging, and implementation of COBOL programs.
• Work with DB2 databases for queries, data processing, and optimization.
• Develop and maintain batch processing using JCL and scheduling tools.
• Troubleshoot production issues and ensure timely resolution.
• Collaborate with business analysts, QA teams, and other technology teams.
• Participate in code reviews, system integration testing, and release deployments.
• Ensure adherence to banking regulatory and security standards
