Purchase - Intern

We are seeking experienced and dynamic Vendor Development to join our company Boatload Minds Private Limited. As a Vendor Developer, you will be responsible for handling a team and customizing the solutions for the growth of the Organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in Vendor Development, Procurement, or
• Supply Chain (freshers with strong interest may also apply).
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing sector (Sheet Metal, Plastic & Rubber
• materials preferred).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to learn vendor selection, evaluation, and management processes.
• Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  
  

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in identifying and evaluating potential vendors based on company requirements.
• Support the onboarding process of new vendors under senior guidance.
• Coordinate with vendors for quotations, samples, and basic documentation.
• Maintain and update vendor databases and records.
• Assist in monitoring vendor performance and escalate issues to senior team members.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Learn and support vendor negotiation, contract handling, and cost analysis activities.
• Stay updated with basic industry trends, materials, and vendor practices
