Job Summary

We are looking for a detail-oriented and motivated Australian Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting activities for Australian clients. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, reconciliations, AP/AR, and Australian statutory requirements, along with hands-on experience with accounting software.


Key Responsibilities

Bookkeeping & Accounting

  • Maintain and update accurate financial records using accounting software.
  • Process Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) transactions.
  • Perform bank and credit card reconciliations.
  • Record and reconcile financial transactions accurately.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end accounting activities.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.


Australian Compliance

  • Assist in preparing and filing BAS, IAS, and other statutory returns.
  • Ensure financial records comply with applicable Australian accounting requirements.
  • Maintain proper supporting documentation for accounting and compliance activities.
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of client financial data.


Team & Client Coordination

  • Coordinate with internal teams to resolve accounting discrepancies and queries.
  • Support senior accountants in completing client assignments within deadlines.
  • Maintain professional communication with international clients when required.
  • Manage multiple assignments while maintaining quality and accuracy.


Required Skills & Competencies

  • 1–3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and bookkeeping principles.
  • Knowledge of Australian bookkeeping and accounting practices.
  • Experience with AP, AR, bank reconciliation, and financial records.
  • Basic knowledge of BAS, IAS, and Australian compliance.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Qualification

  • CA / CMA / CS – Qualified or Dropout
  • MBA – Finance
  • M.Com / B.Com


Preferred Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate should be:

  • Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy.
  • Experienced in handling bookkeeping activities for Australian clients.
  • Proactive and willing to learn Australian accounting practices.
  • Comfortable working with international clients and teams.
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Strong in reconciliation, documentation, and financial data management.


Preferred Software Skills

  • MYOB
  • QuickBooks Online (QBO)
  • Xero
  • MS Excel


Experience : 1 - 3

Timing : 08:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Working Shift : Day Shift (Onsite)
