About The Role
We are seeking a Senior Big Data Engineer with extensive experience in designing and implementing enterprise-scale Big Data platforms and cloud-native data solutions. The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership while driving innovation and best practices across engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Provide technical leadership and engineering direction to development teams. Design and develop scalable Big Data applications and data platforms. Lead architecture discussions and technology decisions. Build and optimize ETL pipelines and large-scale data processing systems. Develop solutions using Scala, Spark, Hive, and GCP technologies. Mentor engineering teams and drive development best practices. Collaborate with business stakeholders and product teams. Design and develop enterprise reporting and analytics solutions using Power BI.
Required Skills
8+ years of software development experience. Strong expertise in GCP, Big Query, and Cloud Storage. Hands-on experience with Scala, Spark, Hive, and Data Lakes. Extensive ETL and Data Warehousing experience. Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools, Git, Maven, and Jenkins. Experience in architecture design and system modeling. Advanced SQL and database expertise. Strong leadership and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skills
Power BI, DAX, and Data Modeling. Experience leading large-scale enterprise data initiatives. Strong communication and mentoring abilities.
