Job Summary

This is a part-time remote role for a Video Editor. The Video Editor will be responsible for editing video content for various platforms, assisting in the creation of visual storytelling, managing video projects, collaborating with the creative team, ensuring a coherent visual style, and delivering high-quality video outputs on schedule. The Video Editor is expected to contribute to brainstorming sessions, provide creative input on video content, and stay updated with industry trends and best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit and assemble raw footage into polished videos, ensuring smooth transitions, proper pacing, and engaging storytelling.
• Add effects, music, sound, and graphics to enhance the overall production quality.
• Ensure brand consistency by aligning videos with company guidelines, style, and messaging.
• Collaborate with the creative/marketing team to understand project requirements and deliver on time.
• Optimize video formats for different platforms (YouTube, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.) to maximize reach and engagement.

Requirements

• Proficiency in video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro)
• Experience in visual storytelling, video production, and project management
• Strong creative and collaborative skills
• Ability to deliver high-quality video content on schedule
• Excellent communication and time-management skills
• Knowledge of the latest industry trends and best practices in video editing
• Experience with motion graphics and animation is a plus.
• Previous experience creating content for startups, tech products, or educational/ explainer videos is a plus.
