Platform QA Manager

Job Requirements

We are looking for an experienced Platform QA Manager to lead quality engineering for our enterprise SaaS platform. You will lead a team of Quality Engineers and partner closely with Engineering, Product, Solution Architect, and other teams to ensure high-quality platform releases and reliable end-to-end customer workflows.

What You’ll Do

• Lead and develop a team of Quality Engineers/SDETs.
• Own release quality, test strategy, execution, and sign-off.
• Drive end-to-end testing across business workflows, personas, products
• Analyze customer workflows, configurations, and feature usage to identify critical end-to-end processes.
• Build and evolve scalable UI and regression automation & automate critical business paths
• Improve test coverage using customer scenarios, production learnings, defects, and usage patterns.
• Lead defect analysis and ensure significant failures result in improved regression coverage.
• Partner with Engineering and Product teams to identify quality and architecture risks early in the development lifecycle.
• Establish and track quality metrics including defect detection, production/UAT escapes, automation coverage, regression effectiveness, and test reliability.
• Drive continuous improvement in QE processes, tools, frameworks, and engineering practices.
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in Quality Engineering, SDET, or related roles, with 3+ years in a people-management role.
• Strong experience testing complex, distributed enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Experience with automation technologies such as Playwright, Selenium, Cypress, REST Assured, or equivalent.
• Strong debugging, root-cause analysis, and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to work across Engineering, Product, Architecture, and customer-facing teams.
• Experience with AI-assisted testing or modern AI-based quality tools is a plus.
• Experience working with customer workflows, business use cases, and HR technology is a plus.
