Job Responsibilities :

Design optimum logging programs, considering the objective formations, fluid characteristics, and company budget.
Integrated Petrophysical evaluation of new and old wells to obtain maximum reconciliation of log data with cores, drill stem tests, and geological sample descriptions, using an in house system.
Analysis of Sonic scanner data, provide acoustic impedance log for seismic inversion work, and all elasticlog inputs for Rock Physics work.
Undertake special research or in-depth studies of particular reservoir related problems, such as over-pressure, variable fluid contact (tilted / compartments) variable log evaluation parameters (m, n, and Rw), or exotic minerals.
Geomechanics study by combining Sonic Scanner/ Dipole Sonic data, four arm caliper data , Rock strength (UCS) data from core and OBMI image to build a 1D mechanical earth model.
Attend service quality meeting with vendors, operations related meeting with teams like D&C, well site operations geology as a day to day activity.
