Inventory Manager

About The Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Manager to oversee and optimize inventory operations across the organization.

The role involves inventory control, stock accuracy, reconciliation, reporting, procurement coordination and efficient material flow across storage and operational locations.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain accurate inventory records across all storage locations.

Develop and implement inventory-control procedures to reduce shrinkage, wastage and stock discrepancies.

Monitor stock levels and reorder points to prevent overstocking and stockouts.

Conduct regular physical audits, cycle counts and inventory reconciliations.

Coordinate with procurement, logistics and production teams for smooth material flow.

Analyze Inventory Data And Prepare Reports Covering

Usage trends

Demand

Stock levels

Inventory turnover

Implement and maintain inventory-management systems and processes.

Ensure inventory transactions are accurately recorded in the relevant systems.

Lead, train and coordinate warehouse / inventory staff where required.

Manage returns, damaged goods and obsolete inventory according to company policies.

Coordinate with finance teams for stock valuation and inventory reporting.

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration or a related field.

2–4 years of experience in inventory management or a similar role.

Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.

Experience With Inventory-management Software Such As

ERP systems

SAP

Tally

Zoho Inventory

Similar inventory platforms

Strong communication and coordination skills.

Excellent attention to detail.

Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in manufacturing, electronics, technology, retail or warehouse environments.

Certification in Supply Chain / Inventory Management such as APICS / CPIM is an advantage.

Strong Excel and reporting skills.

Experience with inventory reconciliation, forecasting and stock audits.
