Role Overview

The Franchise Development Manager (FDM) will be responsible for onboarding and launching new franchise stores. The role involves guiding franchise partners through the store setup process, ensuring timely launch, driving customer connects and supporting early business activation.

Key Responsibilities

• Onboard and guide franchise partners through the complete store setup process.
• Coordinate location, pharmacist, licensing, infrastructure, equipment, inventory and training readiness.
• Ensure franchise stores are opened within the defined timeline.
• Execute pre-launch customer connect and local market activation activities.
• Support franchise partners during the initial months of operations.
• Monitor customer connects, POS/billing performance and early business activation.
• Maintain regular field reports, CRM/portal updates and ensure proper handover to FRM.
  
  

Ideal Candidate Profile

• 1–4 years of experience as a Medical Representative (MR), Pharma Sales Executive or Territory Sales Executive.
• Strong field sales and territory management experience.
• Experience in dealing with doctors, chemists, retailers or distributors preferred.
• Good communication, relationship management and follow-up skills.
• Willing to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
• Candidates with exposure to retail pharmacy, dealer/distributor development or franchise/retail expansion will be preferred.
• Education: Graduate B.Pharm / D.Pharm / B.Sc. preferred.
