Job Description

As a Pulmonology Nurse, you will provide specialized care to patients with respiratory and pulmonary conditions. You will perform responsibilities commonly handled by respiratory ward nurses, pulmonology ward nurses, and pulmonology staff nurses, ensuring accurate monitoring, oxygen therapy support, and coordinated respiratory-care management.

Responsibilities

• Monitor respiratory status and patient vitals.
• Assist with pulmonary assessments and bedside procedures.
• Manage oxygen therapy, nebulization, and inhalation treatments.
• Administer medications and support IV therapies.
• Document assessments, interventions, and respiratory progress.
• Maintain infection-control and respiratory safety standards.
• Educate patients on breathing exercises and lifestyle precautions.
• Coordinate with pulmonologists and respiratory therapists.
