About Us

JNB Bearings Pvt Ltd imports and distributes industrial bearings and power transmission products under our own brand, J&B, alongside leading brands. We supply stone crushers, rice mills, dealers, workshops and OEMs across Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka and Maharashtra. Our finance runs fully on Zoho: Books, Inventory, Payroll and Expense. You will work on live, clean, cloud systems, not paper registers.

Why This Role Matters

You will own the books of a growing import-and-distribution business. Every container we import, every GST return we file and every rupee our customers owe passes through this desk. You will report directly to the Director.

What You Will Do

Daily accounting in Zoho Books

• Record sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journals and debit/credit notes accurately and on time
  
• Generate e-invoices and e-way bills, and handle cancellations and amendments
  
• Keep customer and vendor ledgers clean, with no unexplained balances
  

Import accounting (China sourcing)

• Book import purchases against the Bill of Entry: customs duty, IGST on imports and landed cost (freight, CHA, port charges)
  
• Track foreign-currency vendor payments made through our bank's trade account, and record exchange differences
  
• Match shipments, purchase orders, bills and stock receipts in Zoho Inventory
  

GST, TDS and compliance

• Prepare GSTR-1 and GSTR-3B, and reconcile purchases with GSTR-2A/2B every month
  
• Post TDS entries and support quarterly TDS returns with our CA firm
  
• Keep statutory records audit-ready at all times
  

Receivables, payables and banking

• Track customer outstandings and share ageing reports with the sales team for follow-up
  
• Schedule vendor payments within agreed credit terms
  
• Complete bank reconciliation for all accounts by the 3rd of every month
  
• Prepare the monthly stock statement for our bank's OD/CC limit
  

Reporting and inter-company

• Share monthly MIS: sales, collections, receivables and payables ageing, GST position and bank balances
  
• Reconcile inter-company transactions with our group concern, Jain Bearing Centre
  
  

What Success Looks Like in Your First 90 Days

• GST returns filed on time with zero errors
  
• Bank reconciliation closed by the 3rd; MIS shared by the 5th of every month
  
• Import bills booked with correct landed cost within 3 working days of goods arriving
  
• Customer ageing report updated every week
  
  

You Should Have

• B.Com / M.Com / MBA (Finance); CA Inter or CMA Inter is a plus
  
• 1–3 years of hands-on accounting in trading, distribution or manufacturing
  
• Working knowledge of Zoho Books or Tally Prime (we train you on Zoho)
  
• Clear understanding of GST: GSTR-1, 3B and 2A/2B reconciliation
  
• Good MS Excel: VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP and pivot tables
  
• Good Tamil and English; Hindi or Telugu is a plus
  
  

Good to Have

• Experience with import entries, Bill of Entry or forex payments
  
• Exposure to Zoho Inventory, Zoho Payroll or Zoho Expense

• Fixed monthly salary of ₹30,000 – ₹40,000, based on experience and skill test result
