Banking Officer

A Banking Officer is responsible for acquiring new customers, promoting banking products, and delivering excellent customer service while ensuring compliance with banking policies. The role includes sourcing and managing savings and current accounts (CASA), cross-selling products such as loans, insurance, fixed deposits, and credit cards, achieving assigned business targets, handling customer queries, maintaining long-term customer relationships, completing KYC and documentation, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with branch operations to provide seamless banking services. The Banking Officer is also expected to identify new business opportunities through field visits, referrals, and customer interactions while maintaining high service standards and portfolio quality.
