About the Opportunity

We are hiring a Head of Finance for a multinational organization operating in the global apparel, home and lifestyle sourcing industry.

The role involves leading the end-to-end finance function, strengthening financial governance, and partnering closely with senior leadership on business performance, strategic initiatives, and international financial operations.

The position reports directly to the Managing Director and involves close collaboration with international and group finance teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the complete finance function, including accounting, FP&A, treasury, taxation, compliance, and financial reporting.
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, profitability analysis, and working capital optimization.
• Ensure compliance with international accounting standards, including IFRS / German GAAP, and group reporting requirements.
• Manage cross-border financial operations, foreign exchange exposure, liquidity, and financial risks.
• Partner with business leadership on commercial finance, pricing, margin improvement, and strategic decision-making.
• Support group-level strategic initiatives, acquisitions, integrations, and finance transformation projects.
• Oversee audits, internal controls, statutory compliance, and stakeholder relationships.
• Lead and develop the finance team while driving improvements in financial systems, SAP, and reporting processes.

Candidate Requirements

• Qualification: CA, CFA, or a degree in Finance from a reputed institution.
• Experience: Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience, preferably in international trading, sourcing, retail, or manufacturing.
• Demonstrated experience in financial leadership, governance, treasury, and business finance.
• Strong understanding of international accounting standards and cross-border financial operations.
• Good working knowledge of SAP.
• Experience working in a multinational environment with international stakeholders.
• Strong communication, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Fluency in English is mandatory.

Preferred: Experience with listed companies, European business environments, and international group reporting.
