Roles and Responsibilities:

• Lead the development, publication and ongoing management of accurate and efficient academic timetables.
• Coordinate with academic departments, faculty, operational teams and other stakeholders to gather scheduling requirements and resolve conflicts.
• Manage timetable changes, staff absence records and related scheduling adjustments with minimal disruption to students and staff.
• Maintain accurate, complete and reliable timetabling information and ensure relevant data is available to authorized users in a timely manner.
• Lead, mentor and develop the timetabling team, including task allocation, performance management, training and onboarding support.
• Analyse timetable performance, resource utilization and scheduling outcomes, preparing reports and recommendations for senior management.
• Coordinate timetabling requirements with room bookings, assessment scheduling and other university operational activities.

Skills Required:

• Strong experience in scheduling and timetable planning within a complex operational or higher education environment.
• Proven capability in resource planning and capacity planning across staff, rooms and other operational resources.
• Experience using workforce analytics and scheduling data to identify trends, inefficiencies and opportunities for resource reallocation.
• Ability to lead a timetabling or workforce planning team and manage high-volume, time-sensitive scheduling activity.
• Strong analytical, organizational, prioritization, communication and conflict-resolution skills.

Good to Have:

• Experience in stakeholder management across academic, operational and support functions.

Education: Bachelor's degree in any discipline.
