Job Description:
As a Snowflake Technical Architect at R Systems, you will be responsible for defining and implementing the Snowflake strategy within the organization. Your expertise will guide the successful migration of data to the Snowflake platform, ensuring architectural integrity and governance throughout the process. You will conduct architecture reviews to identify opportunities for optimization and performance improvements.

You will also play a critical role in solutioning, working collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust data solutions that leverage Snowflake’s capabilities. Your leadership will be instrumental in overseeing project delivery, ensuring that all implementations meet quality standards and are completed on time.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the Snowflake strategy for the organization.
- Lead and manage data migrations to the Snowflake platform.
- Conduct architecture reviews and assessments to ensure best practices are followed.
- Establish and enforce governance policies related to Snowflake usage and data management.
- Collaborate with data engineering, data science, and business teams to create effective solutions.
- Oversee delivery leadership, ensuring projects are delivered successfully and meet stakeholder expectations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members throughout the project lifecycle.

Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, ETL processes, and performance tuning.
- Proficient in SQL and data warehousing concepts.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies and architectures, particularly with AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
- Experience in defining and implementing governance frameworks for data management.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills to collaborate with stakeholders at various levels.
- Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI is a plus.
- Previous experience in a similar role, preferably within a fast-paced or agile environment.
