Job Purpose/ Summary
Direct Taxation Team Lead will strengthen tax compliance operations by ensuring SLA adherence, driving process governance, reviewing direct tax compliances, implementing automation initiatives, and fostering effective cross-functional collaboration.
Job Description
A key focus area of the role is to strengthen qualitative SLA parameters by driving process excellence and ensuring strict adherence to established service standards. The position is responsible for monitoring and ensuring the timely achievement of all SLA commitments while maintaining high levels of accuracy and compliance. It also involves reviewing TDS computations, ITR filings, and tax audit processes to ensure correctness and regulatory compliance. Additionally, the role requires establishing strong governance mechanisms to oversee the timely completion of critical activities and deliverables. Driving automation initiatives to enhance operational efficiency, reduce manual effort, and improve process controls is an essential responsibility. Close collaboration with cross-functional teams is also required to ensure seamless coordination, effective problem-solving, and successful execution of organizational objectives.
