Role Purpose

The incumbent will be responsible for the Development and Maintenance on new and existing systems.

Requirements

Relevant Experience

6+ years’ experience in Delphi programming
4+ years’ experience of T-SQL in Microsoft SQL Server
Experience in Alice AI and API programming experience
3rd party components – Flexcel and DevExpress.
Exposure to the Full Software Development Life Cycle

Duties and Responsibilities

Development

Effectively investigate, develop, and maintain the Guardrisk’s in-house

systems against the industry standards and the client requirements.

Develop software code complaint with the Guardrisk technical and

security standards and guidelines.

Continuous system maintenance, bug fixes and enhancements as

requested by the business.

Understand and interpret complex technical system functionality and

specifications.

Understand databases and data relationships in respect of Change

Control

Documentation

Support the capturing of user stories and develop the impact and

technical analysis

Ensure that relevant knowledge of the system exist by developing ongoing

technical, user requirement and user manual documentation.

Perform document reviews, requirements review and system

functionality overviews.

Testing

Test and debug between programs & interface between sub-systems.
Assist the testing team with functional testing and create documentation like test plans, test scripts as necessary.

Planning

Contribute to Agile planning sessions and retrospectives.
Participate in Agile Ceremonies - Bi-weekly standups / Scrum sessions.
