LAB In-Charge
1. Lab Management
- Oversee daily operations of the electronics lab
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and readiness of lab facilities
- Schedule lab sessions and coordinate with faculty/staff
- Install, test, and maintain electronic equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, function generators, multimeters, etc.)
- Ensure proper calibration and functioning of instruments
- Troubleshoot hardware issues and arrange repairs when needed
- Maintain records of lab equipment, components, and consumables
- Procure electronic components and tools as required
- Track usage and prevent shortages or misuse
- Assist students and faculty during practical sessions
- Provide guidance on circuit design, testing, and debugging
- Support project work and research activities
- Ensure adherence to lab safety standards and protocols
- Conduct regular safety checks
- Train users on safe handling of equipment
- Maintain lab manuals, experiment records, and equipment logs
- Prepare reports on lab usage, maintenance, and inventory
- Keep documentation updated for audits and inspections
