Position: State Head – Business Loan (Direct Channel)

Job Purpose

To drive and scale the Business Loan portfolio across the assigned state by leading the Direct channel, building a high-performing sales team, expanding the customer base and delivering consistent business growth while maintaining portfolio quality.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Relationship Managers and drive achievement of business targets.
• Regularly engage with and RMs to improve productivity and business performance.
• Drive acquisition of new Business Loan customers and expand the state-level portfolio.
• Leverage digital capabilities to improve sourcing, conversion and overall sales productivity.
• Achieve and consistently exceed monthly business and disbursement targets.
• Monitor portfolio performance, asset quality and business metrics and take corrective actions.
• Drive cross-sell opportunities to increase customer value and overall revenue.
• Work closely with Product, Credit, Operations, IT, BIU and Digital Marketing teams for seamless execution.
• Provide market intelligence and identify new customer segments, channels and business opportunities.
• Support Product teams in developing differentiated Business Loan offerings.
• Build, lead, coach and retain a high-performing sales team.
• Ensure strict adherence to bank policies, regulatory requirements and compliance standards.
  
  

Candidate Profile

• 10–15 years of experience in Business Loans, Lending or related BFSI.
• Strong experience in Business Loan sales through Branch/Direct channels.
• Proven experience in state/geography-level business ownership.
• Strong DSA network and channel-management experience.
• Experience managing large sales teams and achieving aggressive business targets.
• Strong understanding of lending products, market dynamics and digital sourcing.
• MBA/PGDM in Finance preferred.
